Update on our Supply Chain

Each of us at This End Up would like to thank you for your business and continued confidence in our products and services. We know you have a choice when ordering furniture, and we work hard to meet or exceed your expectations. Everyone in the manufacturing facility here in Sanford, NC, and our sales team across the country thanks you.
Dealing with the difficulties brought on by the pandemic over the last year have been challenging for us all. As the economy continues to roar back from the pandemic, the cost of several of our primary raw materials have more than doubled, while many more have increased by as much as 44%. Lead times are increasing dramatically and freight costs rise with increasing regularity and availability of trucks is becoming a problem. We expect this increased demand for raw materials and a tightening freight market to continue for the foreseeable future.
Like many manufacturing companies, we have worked with suppliers to manage costs and maintain lead times at a manageable level. Please know we are doing everything in our power to control costs, including risk buys on much larger volumes of our primary raw materials than normal. As we are proud to say, our furniture is made primarily from solid wood and demand for lumber has been increasing since early last fall.
We are in the process of analyzing how these increases in cost influence our pricing. As we expect these costs to ease sometime early next year, we will implement a price increase effective May 24, 2021.
